Campus Minister
Elizabeth is a commissioned deacon in the United Methodist Church and has a passion for helping others develop and deepen faith. Elizabeth grew up United Methodist! She went to college at Messiah College in PA and then seminary at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington DC! She and her husband, Eric, moved to Fredericksburg in July 2019 and they welcomed their first child into their family in July 2024. She has enjoyed working for the CCC and the greater community of the University of Mary Washington. She would describe herself as a creative person who loves connecting with people!
Art Sheffield
Operations Assistant
Art is a retired business manager and Information Technology Consultant. He and his spouse, Martha, moved to the Fredericksburg area in mid-2021 and they are actively exploring its rich historic and cultural nature. He is a lifelong Methodist and attends Fredericksburg UMC, where they both sing in the choir, play hand bells, and provide community service via multiple church committees. Throughout his business career and personal life, Art has focused on helping others grow and achieve success in their endeavors. In his spare time, Art enjoys their grandchildren, sightseeing, hiking, walking, golf, and Caribbean cruises!
