The Campus Christian Community gives back to the community through service and outreach. Each semester the students participate in various service projects. In previous semesters students have helped to serve the homeless through Micah ministries, participated in Student’s Helping Honduras fundraisers, and even organized a bone marrow donor registration drive for the organization delete blood cancer.

The CCC has also done international mission trips. Particularly in past years, the CCC has sent students to Honduras to work in conjunction with the organization Students’ Helping Honduras. Each year the CCC either organizes a trip to Honduras or directs its students to join up with the University of Mary Washington’s chapter of Students’ Helping Honduras. During this unique service opportunity students go to Honduras to build schools and children’s homes for rural communities that otherwise would not have access to adequate facilities to educate or house their children.

If you have a service project you would like the CCC to help facilitate or to recruit student volunteers please contact us through our contact us page.
