The first month back has been a very busy and productive month! We kicked off the semester with club carnival where we try to reach out to new students. That was followed by getting dinner as a group at Qdoba and bonding over card games. That first Sunday back we had a church visit to Ebenezer United Methodist, where everyone was very welcoming and they gave us muffins! The second Friday of the semester we had a Fort night, where we made a blanket fort and watched a movie! The Saturday after that some of our members participated in MLK day of service, which was a campus wide day of volunteering. Our kitchen at the CCC was offered up to be a work place where volunteers packaged meals for the Fairy Godmother Project. On the last Tuesday of the month, a group of us from the CCC started volunteering at the Boys and Girls club, where they help with homework and play with the kids. As you can see, we’ve been very busy! Along with all the things I’ve mentioned, we have also been doing our weekly events, such as table talk and bible study.
