Meet Harper! She is a junior this fall (graduating 2022) and is majoring in Theatre. Harper has been very involved in her family business, @playaroundfamilyfuncenter . They offer 36 holes of miniature golf, an out of this world experience in their laser tag arena and an awesome game room! Harper looks forward to seeing everyone this fall, even if it is virtual!

Meet Macy! She is a senior this fall (graduating 2

Meet Macy! She is a senior this fall (graduating 2021) and is majoring in Biochemistry with a concentration in sociology. This summer, Macy started an internship with Transou's Rooter & Plumbing and is getting the opportunity to see what a business looks like behind the scenes. Macy helps with dispatching, property management, invoicing, and pulling any numbers and reports that are needed. Most recently, Macy was also on a Podcast! She looks forward to a safe return this fall and can't wait to see some new and old faces!

During this trying time it can be hard to have hope, but God wants us to trust and have hope for our futures.
The song "I Have This Hope" by Tenth Avenue North talks about having hope, knowing that God won't let go even in the midst of trials. Find comfort in knowing that God is still by your side even through the ups and downs of this pandemic.

Meet Page! She will be a junior this fall at UMW (

Meet Page! She will be a junior this fall at UMW (graduating 2022) and is majoring in Studio Art. At the beginning of quarantine, Page began experimenting with making press-on nails. She realized that she could start selling them! With some help from friends and family, she did it and created @ImPressedByPage. The custom orders from clients have pushed her to gain so many new skills with her nail art and she is so grateful for everyone's support. Page is hopeful for a safe return to UMW this fall and can't wait to see everyone again! #MemberMonday #CCC #UMW #ImPressedByPage

Meet MT (Ministry Team)! They are the student leadership board for the CCC. They create, plan, and execute all the activities for the CCC during the academic year.

This year we are blessed to have Macy (President), Paige (Vice President), Kaylee, Alex, Abby and Cosette on the team!

Meet Kaylee! This summer she is a Ministry Summer

Meet Kaylee! This summer she is a Ministry Summer Service intern with her denomination, (the Church of the Brethren) and instead of meeting in-person for an orientation and then serving alongside a ministry mentor in a local setting, she meets weekly on Zoom, and she has been offering virtual leadership at her home congregation (she preached last week!). She also works as a home care provider, providing care for folks in their homes, assisted living, and in hospice facilities. She also taking the COVID-19 in Context course through UMW and she has found it interesting! Kaylee is excited to see everyone again this fall (even if it is virtual) and hopes for a safe return to campus. #MemberMonday

At the CCC, ministry began in the early 1940s and was only supported by the United Methodist Church. Then in 1963, the Presbyterian church proposed a merger. Soon after the Episcopalians and Lutherans joined the effort of the CCC. #FlashBackFriday

Today, the CCC is an ecumenical (meaning accepting of all denominations) Campus Ministry. We believe that people have value and worth regardless of race, gender, sexual identity, sexual orientation, religious background, current religious beliefs, political views, talents and abilities, age, major, socio-economic status, if they are an extrovert or an introvert, planner or procrastinator, what Hogwarts house they are in, their favorite cookie choice, if they have a mac or PC and what their favorite TV show is.

Happy #MemberMonday! These next few weeks we will

Happy #MemberMonday! These next few weeks we will be introducing some of the members of the CCC and seeing what they have been up to!
First we have Alex. She is a rising Junior at UMW and majoring in Economics (graduating 2022). Alex started coming to the CCC her first semester at UMW and we have loved having her (and her furry friend, Zinger). This summer, Alex is focusing on furthering her education with taking a few online classes and working on continuing to train Zinger. He is a Canine Companions for Independence pup, check out @step.umw for more about CCI. Provided everything is safe in the fall, Alex and Zinger are excited to come back to the CCC and meet new people!
